The furies and the griefs of urgency and drive have been visiting me too, as if given an excuse to multiple under all these light-filled hours. I felt like I went on a soul-walkabout in reading this piece - spanning the nearness of where my two feet are planted to that mystical valley - and back again. Your book is going to be an alchemical tome. I can’t wait ❤️‍🔥

Greetings Charlotte. Been following along here, not sure waht brought me but synchronicity and strange timing and your writing and reflections, which touch me deeply. My Queen of the Night cactus, not the same, but maybe related?, similarly went through the rigor last year, and is slowly returning. These reflections land in a similar place. thank you

Thanks Leah. Love the Queen of the Night! And used to visit it in the desert when I lived there, sheltering under the mesquite with its knockout moth-summoning scent.

That’s beautiful Charlotte and feels close to my own heart and my own project. There’s such a challenge in navigating the demands, the ups and downs in life. But the long view, the past through future, helps
