I love these pieces on the Uneasy Chair! So much to think about for my writing practice and for teaching, where I'm always trying to cut through those formalities and endless restrictions of institutions, and self. "The reader is your friend" - so basic, so simple. Thank you.

Charlotte,

Blessed reading! Timeliness exemplary!

My critical sensation as a writer of recent... the tension of ‘half-knowing’… in finalizing an essay, a prose, a 'completed' work… knowing that there is still a truth to be told… something always hiding...

Am I the writer, keeping a limit?

Am I - as the writer - leaving the hidden up to the reader to find?

As writer, as reader, as Editor-In-Chief... distributor and bus-boy...

I would go to say... as long I am here for my own unfolding in the practice of style, prose, pace... I desire for the reader to journey along with me... as the inner and outer world becomes liminal - awaiting the transformative... awaiting the blossoms from the understory of 'provincial knowing' (our tarnished thought-work)...

This post was extremely helpful to me in my "earth based metaphysical" nonfiction writing journey. I thank you for sharing the gift of these tips. I believe you mentioned that your last post in this container will be on Samhain. Do you have a vision for the next pathway in your creative life? You have shared with such eloquence these writings held in the marrow of grief. I wonder what is next for you and wish you well.

I love what you say about memory as something embodied. Your words have me thinking about the challenge of articulating that embodiment, and the courage it takes to do so. Thank you.
